The Word for World is Forest
An Exploration of Rewilding as Freedom & Forest as Subconscious

From Dr.Yoldaş's statement:
"To be succinct with my proposal I will skip the part where I give alarming numbers and statistics on deforestation and its immediate connection to habitat loss and man-made extinction. I write from California where, the beginning as early as 1850s, the economic activities of the logging industry resulted in massive deforestation. This is also the state with most forest fires also called "wildfires" whose intensity and damage is accelerating in parallel to increasing temperatures...
...Europe, in comparison to United States, has been subject to centuries of land use and forest management. Despite having lost most of its primary forests Europe still has them with a high conservation value. In our approach I wish to team up with conservation agencies and Rewilding groups as well as forestry scientists and industry. Building from research results I would like to visualize a forest-driven future."
This project aimed to realize with using technologies such as : projection mapping, game engine based interactive graphics (Unity), digital design and production of exhibit artifacts, graphic design, custom installation architecture, scent-design and interactive scent distribution.
